About Peggy
Peggy Ginn's journey in the equestrian world began in Anniston, Alabama, where she discovered her passion for riding at the age of 15. As an active member of the internationally affiliated Cahaba Pony Club in Birmingham, she honed her skills under the guidance of Jeffray Riding.
Her dedication and talent propelled her through the ranks of the United States Pony Club, where she achieved remarkable success, ultimately reaching the B Level before aging out. This experience not only exposed her to various riding disciplines but also instilled in her a profound understanding of stable management and sportsmanship.
Undeterred in her pursuit of equestrian excellence, Peggy continued her training while pursuing a B.S. degree in animal science with a focus on equine studies at Auburn University. Following her graduation, she embarked on a new chapter in Santa Fe, New Mexico, serving as a Barn Manager and Assistant Trainer at Goose Downs, a prominent 3-Day Eventing facility.
In 1983, Peggy's journey led her to Los Osos, where she established her business at Los Osos Valley Equine Farm. Here, she specializes in imparting the fundamental principles of riding to both young children and adults alike. With her wealth of experience, Peggy excels as a seasoned Jumper rider, actively competing on the A Circuit.
